About Josey

Josey’s postdoctoral work focuses on analyzing governance challenges in the provision of crop protection services in Tanzania. He conducted his PhD research (October 2011 – November 2014) at the University of Hohenheim (Germany) where he studied the comparative advantage of CGIAR centres viz-a-viz other actors in agricultural research for development. Empirical analysis was carried out at the legume improvement program of ICRISAT with case studies in India, Malawi and Ethiopia. Prior to joining the University of Hohenheim, he worked as a Dutch-funded APO (Institutional Innovation Specialist) at ICRISAT based in Hyderabad, India.
